On Tuesday 21st October we celebrated all the partnerships that enable NILS Tasmania to be the first choice of safe, interest free credit for Tasmanians. 46 000 loans worth over $55 million since 2002 - all thanks to our capital partners in NAB & Bank of us Tasmania, our funders - in the Tasmanian & Australian Government (represented by Senator Richard Dowling), Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand, and our long term donors in Aurora Energy, Isabel & John Gilbertson Charitable Foundation, and Jackson Motor Company.

The heart of NILS loans are the 470+ loans officers and the network of 105 community and government organisations around Tassie that assist people to apply for our loans.  We honored Linda (on behalf of all these legends). She has been a NILS loans officer at Bucaan Community House since the very start - helping over 400 Tasmanians access loans in her community over the last 22 years. There is so much more to do and the room was united in thinking through what comes next!
